What is a NCR form?
An NCR (No Carbon Required) form is a type of paper made to create copies of a document without the use of carbon paper. NCR forms consist of multiple sheets of paper coated with micro-encapsulated dye or ink and reactive clay. When pressure is applied (such as when writing with a pen), the micro-capsules break and release the dye, which reacts with the clay on the sheet below to create a duplicate copy.
